Do Not Follow a Path

It is easy, so very easy to follow the path already walked. The way is there.
But then again, you walk over somebody else's steps. There is nothing wrong about it, on the contrary, I would say. Life is so much easier that way. Everything, or almost everything is offered. You are asked to do this little bit day in, day out and that is it.... Which is fine, if it suits you.
But we have also some people who cannot compromise. Who cannot do the ordinary. People who are challenged by life and wish to add their own small print on this earth. These people go where there is no path. Because, easy was not what was promised or expected. Because they have dreams, they are romantic and fighters. These people leave a trail. Small or big, it does not matter. But they do leave a trail and a hope. Hope that we can do it, we can do anything we dream of, we wish for, we work for.
One thing to remember: Change the shoes when they are worn out!
